How does it work?
Maternity and newborn sessions can be booked as individual sessions, or book them together and save 15% ($105) on your total investment. Newborn sessions always include one free reschedule, so don't worry if we need to change the date later on!
Where do these sessions take place?
Maternity sessions can take place anywhere you like! If there will be older siblings participating, outdoor spaces with lots of room to run always work well. I can always offer suggestions!
Your newborn session will take place in your own home, where you will feel safe, comfortable and secure with your little one. In general, newborn sessions take place indoors, but we can use outdoor spaces as well if the weather is good. As with my maternity sessions, your newborn session will be designed to tell the story of your family. All family members are welcome, and encouraged to participate! Newborn - Single Session
SESSION DETAILS
Tip: These sessions are usually booked at 2-3 weeks of age, but are wonderful for infants under 1 year.
*Includes 60-90 minutes session time. These sessions are all about taking things slowly, so there will be no need to feel stressed or rushed if we need to take a break. We will have all the time you need to feed, change and comfort your little one. It is often these moments of care giving that make the most memorable photographs.
*Your fees include session time and 45-55 images delivered via a fully downloadable client gallery (you get all of your best images)
*My newborn sessions focus on capturing the powerful connections happening between you, your infant and your family. I do not use props or artificial light. I will bring a white blanket, and we will utilize the natural light available in your home (near windows) to create beautiful, natural images that you will cherish for a lifetime. If you prefer more stylized newborn portraits (for example the use of props and studio lighting) we may not be a good fit, but I can suggest a few other photographers that do this type of work!
*All members of your immediate family are encouraged to participate. Where time permits, we can take a moment to make documentary, or environmental portraits of any older siblings in the household as well.
*Newborn sessions will take place in the warmth and comfort of your own home. I highly recommend having all family members participate in our time together as this will allow me to tell the story of your family as a whole.
*Booking a newborn session can be tricky... babies don't always stick to due dates! I always include 1 free reschedule with your newborn session so there's no stress if things don't go according to plan.

Please note that a non-refundable retainer fee of $150 is due upon booking, with your remaining balance due on or before your session date.

*All members of your immediate family are encouraged to participate. Where time permits, we can also take a moment to make portraits of any other children in the household.
*Maternity sessions can take place at the location of your choosing. I can always make some suggestions if you need help picking a location. I highly recommend having all members of your household participate in our time together!
Price: $275 + HST
Please not that a non-refundable retainer fee of $100 is due upon booking, with your remaining balance due on or before your session date.
