2024 Light the spark emerging artists exhibit
I'm very excited to announce that I have been selected as a 2024 Spark Photo Festival emerging artist! This unique program offers participants the opportunity to create their first photography exhibit while receiving education and guidance from local photography, exhibition and printing professionals. I'm so grateful for this chance to connect with the local photography community, and to expand my skillset!

The 2024 Spark Photo Festival is happening now until April 30th! Swing by the Peterborough YMCA, Balsillie Family Branch to check out the Light the Spark - Emerging Artists Exhibit, Spark Juried Exhibit, and some fantastic work from the Kawartha Photographer's Guild. A little bit about me....
My name is Sarah and I'm Lakefield based family, newborn and event photographer. Using a unique session format, I combine casual lifestyle portraiture with a more documentary approach, allowing me to create images that reflect the power of authentic human connection. As a firm believer in relaxed, stress free and “kid first” family photos, I love working with natural light, wild settings (inside or out, haha), and encouraging children to engage with the world around them.
